International Involvement

Westminster is a School with a truly international outlook. Our students regularly participate in exchanges, tours and community service programs around the world. International students are valued members of our student population. The School also enjoys strong links with its sister Schools Tamagawa Academy in Tokyo, Japan and Hangzhou Greentown School in Hangzhou, China. Westminster’s International involvement is underpinned by two key programs:

Round Square
Westminster is the only South Australian School to be a member of Round Square; a worldwide association of schools, currently numbering nearly one hundred members, which share a commitment, beyond academic excellence, to personal development and responsibility through service, challenge, adventure and international understanding. World Leading Schools Association

Westminster School became a member of the World Leading Schools Association (WLSA) in June 2012; one of just 100 schools worldwide.  The central mission of WLSA is to promote educational exchange and cooperation between leading secondary schools in China and the rest of the World. Working collaboratively with other schools and institutions of higher education around the world, Westminster staff and students will have the opportunity to bridge cultural differences, promote understanding between across nation and engage in meaningful, in depth conversation on key educational issues, sharing our best to ensure we have an internationally focused, modern, world-class curriculum.
