Alice Embrace: Wonderland
Westminster School Drama presents the 2024 Junior Play, 'Alice: Embrace Wonderland'.
'Alice Embrace: Wonderland,' a ‘coming of age’ tale featuring four Alices, each symbolising a different side to the girl’s personality, is sure to entertain and provoke some thoughts about what it is to “grow up” in the early Twenty First Century.
Alice, a first year Uni student, is studying Psychology. Her lecturer, Dr Stewart, a throwback to the late 1970s, presents a lecture about Self -Concept leaving Alice wondering who she is and what her friendships are based on.
Later, Alice’s encounters with classic characters, modernized to reflect present day people and attitudes, impact her journey through adolescence.
Held in the Michael Murray Centre for Performing Arts - Drama Theatre, there will be three performances, Tuesday 26th, Wednesday 27th, and Thursday 28th November, in Week 7.
Each performance commences at 7pm and finishes at approximately 9:15pm, including a 20-minute interval. Food & beverages will be hosted by Friends of Music from 6:30pm each night in the Worthley Foyer.
