At Westminster, we believe in nurturing a multicultural and inclusive community. On Friday 21 March, we will celebrate Harmony Day, which is an opportunity to honour our students’ diverse backgrounds and foster a sense of unity and belonging.

This day encourages respect, understanding and inclusivity, creating a safe environment where all students learn from one another and embrace their unique identities. We invite students to share their cultural heritage through traditional performances, food, craft or any activity that celebrates their culture.

Your child’s contribution will enrich our community's learning experience.

Preparatory School

Westminster Preparatory students are encouraged to wear any traditional/cultural clothing or a splash of orange on Friday 21 March.

Orange is the chosen colour for Harmony Day as it signifies social communication, meaningful conversations and mutual respect.

Volunteers

We are also calling on volunteers to support us throughout Harmony Week. Parents are encouraged to share their culture by leading a mini workshop for our students. This is a wonderful way to involve our diverse community in the celebrations.

If you are interested in contributing, please contact swhiffen@westminster.sa.edu.au
