Weekly Sports Wrap
Westminster C Tennis
Over the summer, significant work has gone into strengthening Tennis at Westminster, with much of the credit going to Head of Tennis, Nick Garrett. On Saturday 15 February, our Primary C Tennis team took on PAC, a school known for fielding a strong team of six players. Representing Westminster were Seb, Ethan, Abigail, Giselle, Isabella and Zara.
The team has made impressive progress, developing a strong understanding of the game and positioning themselves well in matches. This improvement was evident as they claimed several sets against PAC – a rare achievement last year. Playing at number one, Seb secured a 6-2 win in his singles match, while Ethan, ranked at number two, edged out his opponent 6-5. The pair also teamed up for a doubles victory. We look forward to seeing more progress next week against Blackfriars.
