The Sports and Swimming Centre
The Westminster Sports and Swimming Centre can be accessed via Alison Avenue (Gate 4), sharing the same facility as the basketball courts. With ample on-site parking and green oval space for children to run and play before or after lessons, WestSwim offers an environment where families can slow down and soak up the joy of swimming lessons, both after school and on weekends. There is even a coffee shop on-site to enjoy a warm drink before or after lessons.
The Sports and Swimming Centre features large changeroom facilities each with 5 shower cubicles as well as an accessible change room with shower. Family and friends are always welcome on pool deck at WestSwim, with plenty of pool deck seating in our warm, indoor environment.
Our Pools
Our modern facilities consisting of two heated indoor pools (a 10-lane 25m lap pool (28 degrees) and a 15m learner’s pool (32 degrees)) enable us to provide a swim program that develops water awareness, confidence, mobility, stroke technique, and fitness for all ages.
At WestSwim, the comfort and safety of our patrons is of the highest priority. Boasting exceptional water quality standards thanks to a world class ultraviolet sanitation system, the Westminster pool provides a clean, comfortable and safe environment to best support your child on their swimming journey. Ultraviolet sanitation assists in the removal of pathogens and bacteria from the water, but the role it plays in making the pool more comfortable and the water less irritating on skin and eyes is an added benefit. Lower chlorine levels also result in a more pleasant pool deck experience for our patrons, with no strong smell of chlorine in the air.
